The Westview Community Organization’s Garden Committee is rolling out a neighborhood-wide composting program in Westview. Here’s a list of compostable items that you can drop off:
October 5, 2013
On October 5, 2013 the Garden Committee hosted a rain barrel workshop sponsored by the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance. The organization provided the rain barrels and gave a presentation about the benefits of rain barrels, how to use them, and how to assemble the kit. Participating neighbors were able to take a donated rain barrel home for personal use while the remaining barrels were saved for use in the community garden.

Details: The Garden, Youth, and Membership Committees are partnering together for work days at the South Gordon Community Garden. Neighbors can rent their own garden bed or work with fellow neighbors in the community plots. Every Saturday morning this fall, weather permitting.
