The Big Apple Inn
The Big Apple Inn is a fourth generation business that originated in Jackson, Mississippi. April Patton’s great-grandfather started the business making tamales and then gained fame for his pig ear sandwiches. April continues the family tradition by serving the pig ear sandwiches, red sausage “smokes” sandwiches, and tamales, in addition to ice cream at this little corner take-out spot. From Thursday to Saturday April offers breakfast with options from pancakes and bacon to salmon croquette sliders.
